Spanish Assembly

Last Friday’s assembly was a real cultural treat as our primary Spanish learners took all on a journey and insight into the key celebrations in Spain.

There was indeed much to celebrate with the children showcasing the  vibrancy of their learning. The children from year 1 to year 6 spoke clearly and confidently with wonderful pronunciation and all were entertained by the super singing and impressive Spanish-style dancing.

The children’s love of languages was clear for all to see and they ‘wowed’ everyone with their energy and enthusiasm. Special thanks (or ‘muchas gracias’) to our creative and talented Spanish team: Senorita Lasa, Senorita Pardo and Senor Byrne. The attention to detail and staging was stunning and this, alongside the costumes, really added to the occasion. Many thanks to the parents for all their support with props and backdrops - it was lovely to witness such an appreciative audience and a splendid end to the first half of the term.
