Impressive, pink balloon decorations adorned the junior campus, and were a real sight to behold. We had a number of stalls and a mouthwatering number of cakes as well as a free health check from Sunway Medical Centre. Artwork, created by one of our talented parents, was auctioned off and there were ‘whoops of delight’ during a fabulous raffle offering some fantastic prizes.
All commented on how much they enjoyed the morning, which continues to become bigger and better year on year. Many of us know of someone affected by cancer and this Pink Ribbon event symbolises a show of strength and support by the remarkable BSKL community, whilst at the same time raising awareness for all.
A huge thanks to the team of parents (in particular, Rachel Garnett, Rachel Gillies and Sally King) ably led by Roisin Pearson, and Sodexo for organising and supporting such a worthy BSKL community event. Initial feedback suggests that the final total is likely to exceed all expectations.
