Over two Sports Days, years 3, 4, 5 and 6 battled it out to claim house points and glory.

The Year 3 and 4 students rotated through a range of stations, demonstrating their speed, stamina, throwing and jumping skills. It was fantastic to see the  sportsmanship the children showed towards each other and they way in which they encouraged their rivals, congratulating them and sharing in their success.

The following day it was the turn of the year five and six students to showcase their athletic prowess. In a more direct competition, the children battled it out over numerous track and field events, choosing to specialise in one track, one field and one jump. The standard of competition was very high with many students showing great sporting potential. The competition was fierce with each competitor showing great determination and desire to succeed in order to reap points for their house and secure the cup. Despite the intensity, Pierre de Coubertin would have been proud of all the students. The level of competition and sportsmanship on show was fantastic as each student aspired to greatness!

In the end it was the Vikings who triumphed, but it was close run thing! Congratulations to the Vikings who will remain custodians of the cup until next year.
