SATs Results 2015/16

New key stage 2 tests in 2016
The 2016 KS2 National Tests are the first which assess the new, more challenging national curriculum which was introduced in 2014. Results are no longer reported as levels. Each pupil will now receive their tests results as a score from 80 to 120, where 100 represents the expected standard.

BSKL Mathematics, Reading and Spelling, Grammar, Punctuation and Vocabulary (SPAG) tests are marked externally by the UK approved test centre (UKESS). 

BSKL students far outperformed the UK national average across all areas of the KS2 National Tests:

Note: 4% of BSKL students achieved the exceptional score of 120 in their tests.

End of KS2 Results 2015-16
Year 6 students took standardised tests in English and Mathematics at the end of the academic year. The tests are designed and marked externally by GL Assessment, a well established and respected UK based school assessment provider.

BSKL students far outperformed the UK national average across all areas of the standardised tests:

Progress is also measured in the standardised tests.

In English, 100% of BSKL students made expected or greater than expected progress.

In mathematics, 96% of BSKL students made expected or greater than expected progress.
